Terms of use

CFO Simulator is free training in finance work at a virtual Saudi company: accounting and finance tasks reach you through the internal mail, you complete them, and your answers are assessed.

• The companies, characters and figures on the site are fictional.
• Nothing on the site is professional, accounting, tax, zakat, legal or investment advice, so do not base any real decision on it.
• The value added tax, zakat and social insurance rules on the site are simplified. They were last reviewed in September 2026 and may have changed since. Before relying on any of them, consult the official sources, such as the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Each person may hold one account only.
• Your password is for you alone, so do not share it with anyone. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

You must not:

• attempt to access another player's data or the administration pages, or circumvent the limits on attempts;
• create accounts with automated software or in bulk, or collect the site's content with automated software;
• misuse the AI features, for example by trying to make the characters depart from their roles, or by using up the allowance on requests unrelated to the training;
• write unlawful or offensive content in conversations, memos or answers.

Claude, a model made by Anthropic, writes the wording of the messages, the replies and the conversations with the characters, and assesses written memos against fixed criteria for each task.

• Each account has a monthly allowance, the platform as a whole has a monthly cap, and conversations and wording have daily limits.
• These features may stop at any time: when the allowance or the cap is used up, when the provider fails, or when they are switched off on the server. The texts are then written in fixed automatic wording, memos are assessed by fixed automatic rules, and the work carries on.
• The AI may make mistakes in its wording or explanations, so check what it writes.
• The company's figures, the assessment of numerical answers and decisions, and each task's final score are calculated by the simulation engine using fixed rules. The AI does not change any figure, and its part in the score is limited to assessing the memo.

The site is entirely free: there are no fees, payments, subscriptions or paid features, and the site never asks for payment details. There is therefore nothing to refund, and this is the refund policy.

• The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will always work or be free of errors.
• The site may change, or stop temporarily or permanently, at any time, and the tasks and the assessment rules may change.
• If a change to the site requires it, your progress in the game (your company, your tasks and your scores) may be reset so that you start again. Your progress is not guaranteed to be kept.

• You may delete your account at any time from the settings, by entering your password and typing the confirmation word the page asks for. The account, the company and all of its data are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.
• The platform administrator may suspend an account that breaches these terms. A suspended account cannot sign in.

What the site keeps about you, what is sent to the AI provider, and how to delete it are set out in the privacy notice, and cookies in a section of their own.

• Font: IBM Plex Sans Arabic, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. It is served from the site's own servers, not from an external font service.
• Icons: Lucide, under the ISC licence.
• The other libraries are open source, such as Next.js and React, and are used in accordance with their licences.
• The site uses no images from commercial stock libraries and no images generated by AI.

The site is run by the platform administrator.

No contact email is published. You can reach them through the person who shared the link to the site with you.

These terms may change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page (25 September 2026) and changes with every revision. If you continue to use the site after a revision, you accept the new terms.
